Fendalton-Merivale Group
at St Barnabas Church
For over 65s who may be living alone or have limited opportunity to get out and about, Elder Care Groups provide companionship, fun, advice and support. Hosted by the parishes of Merivale and Fendalton at St Barnabas Anglican Church, in partnership with the Anglican Elder Care Project, this Group offers a varied programme of activities, afternoon tea and transport all at a minimal cost per guest. On occasion, we organise outings and excursions too.
Where: St Barnabas Anglican Church, 145 Fendalton Road, Christchurch
When: Mondays 1.00 pm - 3pm
Cost: $3.00 per session (includes afternoon tea)

Our volunteers greatly enjoy their experience at the Groups too. If you have an hour or two weekly or fortnightly to spend with our guests or help with transport, we would love to hear from you.
