Elder Care Groups
Opawa Group
at St Mark's Church
For over 65s who may be living alone or have limited opportunity to get out and about, Elder Care Groups provide companionship, fun, advice and support. Hosted by the parish of Opawa-St Martins at St Mark's Anglican Church, in partnership with the Anglican Elder Care Project, this Group offers a varied programme of activities, morning tea and transport all at a minimal cost per guest.
Where: St Mark's Anglican Church, 101 Opawa Road, Opawa, Christchurch
When: Mondays 9.30 am - 12.00 pm
Cost : $3.00 per session

Our volunteers greatly enjoy their experience at the Groups too. If you have an hour or two weekly or fortnightly to spend with our guests or help with transport, we would love to hear from you.
