Elder Care Groups 
 

For over 65s who may be living alone or have limited opportunity to get out and about, Elder Care Groups provide companionship, fun, advice and support. Hosted by the Avonside parish at Holy Trinity Church, in partnership with the Anglican Care Elder Care Project, this Group offers a varied programme of activities, afternoon tea and transport all at a minimal cost per guest.

 

Where: Holy Trinity Church 168 Stanmore Road Avonside, Christchurch

 

When: Thursdays   1.00 pm - 3.30 pm

 

Cost: $3.00 per session (includes afternoon tea)

Our volunteers greatly enjoy their experience at the Groups too. If you have an hour or two weekly or fortnightly to spend with our guests or help with transport, we would love to hear from you.
